December 21, 2019Matt Leave a comment

Bit late on this, but while I was in Mazatlan this October I got a dodger (sprayhood for UK sailors, the ‘windshield bit at the front’ for everyone else) built! I haven’t had a dodger since the ratty one that… Continue reading →

A couple of days after the Tropical Storm passed over I started feeling kinda off – and sure enough I got a really nasty heavy cold, that pretty much put me out of action for a whole week. I must… Continue reading →

Last 100 miles were upwind against heavy current but it was ok, even the fearsome Punta Mala was tame. By far the scariest bit was threading my way through the shipping anchorage outside the canal, the traffic was very active and a couple of times I had to get out the way sharpish

Next, the canal!

The hardest parts are yet to come but after two and a half years, I'm homeward bound.
