So a bedside light doesn’t work, and hasn’t since I got the boat. Hmm, what could be wrong? I finally had a bit of time to investigate.
Lets unscrew the middle and have a look!

It was full of water.
I then unscrewed the main white plate
So yeah. Not surprising it didn’t work. Look at that corrosion!
I will have to replace the whole thing.
I THINK the water was getting in through the holes in the top that I have since filled – the same ones that were letting water drip out of the AC sockets. I’ll keep an eye on it for any further water ingress however.
