The original vent install for the Natures Head was simply a screen laid over the hole from the old pump out hole.
This was great until it rained heavily, and a ton of water went down the vent and into the toilet where you are not supposed to get water. Not good.
Luckily the next day the mushroom vent I ordered came in!
First thing to do was removed the old pumpout hole, this was easily done.
Then I spread a ton of 4200 sealant on the thing and throughbolted it through the deck.
Last thing to do was screw on the mushroom head – this also can be tightened right now if you are expecting really rough weather, or some heavy wind sailing
