So tomorrow the boat is being sailed to Captains Cove (doubling as a sea trial) and then being hauled out the water for the survey. I have my fingers crossed that all goes well – if it does, then my plan is to leave the boat out of the water while I get the bottom cleaned/repainted. I’m also going to get a through-hull transducer installed, and maybe seal up the through-hull valve that the head uses (since I intend to replace the entire apparatus with a compostable head).
Once all that is done, it’ll be time to put her back in the water and move her to her new home in Victoria!
